Meet Jane.
Jane Macrae knows how to draft a dream home.
Trained in Melbourne, she’s worked in the industry locally and abroad since 2004 – exploring all avenues of residential architecture.
After spending decades honing her craft, Jane discovered her true design love: creating forever homes for families.
When she founded Nine Muses in 2017, it was to create flexibility for her family as they made the sea change to Ocean Grove. She quickly fell in love with the area – and the ability to help more families build the home of their dreams.
Joining each client in the journey, she lives for the ‘light-bulb’ moment as they fall in love with a concept.
Her focus is on creating homes that are well-loved – and well-lived-in – by families like her own.

Why Nine Muses?
The Nine Muses have nurtured art, science and design since ancient days.
Greek Goddesses, they protected the artistry, wisdom and insight of all thinkers – and they pique Jane’s curiosity to this day. With a background in classical music and a keen interest in technical subjects, it seemed only right to name her business after these design-led deities.
Under the banner of these Ancient Greek motivators, Nine Muses embraces all things creative – and executes inspired designs in each project.
